September 12-14, 2008 National Health Freedom Coalition: Minneapolis, MN Autumn will be the keynote speaker for the National Health Freedom Coalition annual conference. Her presentation titled, "My Life Beyond Mental Illness: A Remedy And A Revolution" will focus on her efforts to make alternative treatments for mental illness more widely accepted. Dana will present in-depth information about EMPowerplus, the theory of why it works for mental health disorders, and the exciting research completed to date. More about the Health Freedom Expo >> June 7, 2008: Medicine Hat, Alberta Autumn has been invited to speak at the Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM) Specialist conference in Medicine Hat, Alberta. She is the guest speaker for the afternoon session focusing on living with bipolar disorder and mental illness. (Note: This conference was postponed to a later date). May 9, 2008: Calgary, Alberta Autumn will be joining a group of concerned citizens in a Red Umbrella action to mark a court appeal by Truehope and to support the rally against Canadian Health Bill C-51. More about the Red Umbrellas >> May 5-8, 2008: Grande Prairie, Alberta Dana and Autumn have been invited by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) to participate in Grande Prairie's Mental Health Week. They will give informative and entertaining presentations celebrating hope for recovery, community initiative and the belief that there is life after mental illness. Dana and Autumn will also present information about Truehope EMPowerplus, the research that has been completed, and the theories about why it works for bipolar affective disorder. |
